Ancient Israel Cities 3D Map - High Resolution!This map of Ancient Israel contains all the important towns and cities of the entire Old Testament, including the third journey of the Israelites before entering the land to conquer it! Color coding shows the various types of cities. Turquoise town indicators show the 48 cities of the Levites...they did not receive their own territory like the other tribes, but they received four cities from every tribe with one or two exceptions. The cities of refuge are indicated. The possible locations of the 13 cities of the Siddim Valley are shown, most of them underwater at the time of the Israelite's arrival in Canaan. Only Zoar is known and visible...the one city that God spared at Lot's request. This is a key map for studying the Old Testament activities. This map is 150dpi and was designed for a tabloid size map (11x17). It can be reduced for smaller maps, but the writing will be fairly small. 23.5" x 35.5" This is a very large map and takes time to download. Please be patient; you will find it is well worth your wait. At the top of the page you can adjust the size of the map to as large or as small as you wish. It comes in at 37% which is too small. To see it properly go to 100%. You can print a tabloid size quite well but smaller ones are very hard to read. We have placed all the ancient towns and cities of Israel on this map that we could find. This map is excellent for studying all the old testament events. If you find a town is missing, let us know which one and the scripture from which it is taken.
